Movie Night Reflection
Our movie night was good. After we finally found a good time to meet and watch the movie everything went pretty smooth. We had our roommates come and join us and a few others in our hall. Before we started the movie we told the others why we where watching the movie and how we needed their feedback. We asked them to tell us where they saw conflict in the movie. For the most part they enjoyed it and where very helpful. After the movie was over we discussed what we would do for our presentation. It didn't take to long to figure out what we wanted to do. We chose to look at three different scenes that we thought showed to have the most conflict or what we thought was most like what we had been talking about in class. The three scenes that we chose where the bar scene, the speed-dating scene, and the office scene where Albert quits his job. Each of these scenes either had something to do with having control of the conflict, a misunderstanding or miscommunication. From this movie night we learned about a few important life skills. We learned that communication is important. We should be open and honest about our feelings and say what we are thinking.
